A delicate, honey-sweet taste and aroma are characteristic features of greengage spirit, distilled from the “Zelená renklóda cukrářská malá” variety. Greengage plums are a different type of plum tree and are almost a rarity nowadays. Greengage orchards are practically impossible to find, but in 2020 we were lucky enough to discover an old orchard with this gem in our neighborhood. We fermented the fruit without pits, distilled it in 2021, left it to mature in a stainless steel tank for two years, and in May 2023 it was time for bottling.

We produced 323 pieces of 500 ml bottles, 60 pcs of 200 ml bottles, and 100 pieces of 50 ml bottles.

Only the orchard itself knows when the next such gem will appear, but we already know that it won’t be sooner than in three years…

We recommend storing and consuming at a temperature of around 18 °C. At temperatures below approximately 8 °C, slight cloudiness will occur due to the precipitation of aromatic oils, so do not put it in the refrigerator or freezer. You will unnecessarily deprive yourself of its aroma and taste.
