The product is valuable and exceptional compared to other fruit spirits in that it is not distilled from ordinary apple ferment, but from apple cider.
In the fall of 2018, we pressed the juice from local apples at BBCidre and, after several pumping, allowed it to ferment in a controlled manner with wild yeasts during the winter. The cider matured in the cellar for the next year.
In June 2020, we distilled the matured cider at GALLI DISTILLERY. After proper ventilation, we let the spirit rest for a year in a new oak barrel, where trace elements and tannins were extracted.
In September 2021, we pumped the spirit into a port wine barrel, brought directly from Portugal for this purpose. The spirit continued to mature there until March 2023. Additional aromas were extracted into it, its taste was smoothed out, and it acquired its final color.
Bottling took place in October 2024.
In particular, the origin, time and methods of aging characterize the uniqueness of Renet, its unique tones and tuning.
460 pieces of 500 ml bottles with exclusive labels and boxes were created. Each bottle has its own unique number on the label.
On October 18, 2024, Renet 43% won a gold medal in the category of best apple spirit and a silver medal in the category of best barrel-aged brandy at the Pálenka roku 2024 competition.

We recommend storing and consuming at a temperature of around 18 °C. At temperatures below about 8 °C, slight cloudiness will occur due to the precipitation of aromatic oils, so do not put it in the refrigerator or perhaps in the freezer. You are unnecessarily depriving yourself of its aroma and taste.
